Celebrating 35 Years: Community Onsite Property Programs
Posted by: Preservation Management, Inc. in Uncategorized on August 5, 2025

Properties managed by Preservation Management offer a variety of onsite programs designed to enhance neighborhood living through localized support and services. These initiatives are tailored to meet the unique needs of each community. Fostering connection, personal growth, and a strong sense of belonging among residents.
Fueling Our Communities
Property onsite programs may include food banks, pantries, deliveries, donations, Meals on Wheels, farm shares, and even a community garden. While each program operates a bit differently across properties. The core goal remains the same: to enhance available food resources for the residents. Typically held once a month, these programs allow residents to select healthy food options to take home. Some Resident Service Coordinators go above and beyond by delivering food directly to apartments or creating meal prep plans based on the monthly deliveries. Additionally, one property offers an emergency food pantry to assist residents facing urgent needs. Fueling our communities with access to nutritious food is not just helpful but essential.
Community Health Services
Secondly, and just as important as ensuring residents have access to food, is making sure they have access to essential health services. Some of the onsite programs offered include vaccination clinics, blood pressure checks, visits from nurses and foot doctors, mental health education, university practicum counseling, and informational sessions on Medicare, Medicaid, and end of life planning. While offerings vary from property to property, each program brings vital services directly to residents where they live. This not only removes barriers such as transportation and cost but also promotes early intervention, preventive care, and overall well being. Having these services onsite helps residents have the chance to stay healthier, more informed, and better supported in their daily lives.
Clean Communities
Another important part of quality living is maintaining a clean environment. Some properties offer onsite cleaning support to help residents keep their homes and surroundings in great condition. Within one community, residents can pay a small fee for a chore provider to assist with apartment tidying, while other properties organize spring cleaning events, offering supplies, boxes, and the opportunity to donate unwanted items to local causes. Many communities also provide bed bug education, which is essential for maintaining a clean and pest free living space. A clean community not only promotes physical health but also contributes to residents comfort and overall quality of life.
Community Connections
Although access to food, healthcare, and a clean environment is essential, building community connections is just as important for overall resident wellness. That’s why many properties prioritize creating opportunities for residents to engage, socialize, and thrive together. Programs like Senior Life offer socialization, education, activities, and even transportation services. Other offerings may include exercise classes, mobile libraries, church services, beauty salons, social hours, craft clubs, computer literacy courses, resident memorials, crime prevention workshops, holiday events, and much more. While programs vary by property, the goal remains the same, to reduce isolation, encourage engagement, and help residents feel a part of a supportive and vibrant community.
A Community that Cares
Preservation Management is more than just a management company. We’re a community that genuinely cares about our residents. One example of this is our NE/W portfolio’s annual backpack program, which ensures that every school aged resident receives a backpack filled with school supplies to help them start the academic year prepared. In addition to resident focused support, our company is deeply committed to cultivating a culture of giving back. Each year, we host Commitment to Caring Day, where employees across 16 states volunteer in their local communities in meaningful ways. Whether it’s serving at a food kitchen, donating to homeless shelters, hosting local events, or supporting other neighborhood initiatives, our team steps up to make a difference. This spirit of service reflects our core values and reinforces our belief that strong communities are built through compassion, connection, and care.
