Christine R.A. Jenkinson, President & Chief Executive OfficerChristine Jenkinson, CEO, Preservation Management

Christine R.A. Jenkinson became President & Chief Executive Officer of Preservation Management, Inc. in 2016. Christine has dedicated her career to working in affordable housing and joined PMI in October, 2009 managing special assets for the President. In 2010, she was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and, in 2013, she was again promoted to Senior Vice President & COO. In her time at PMI, she has managed the field operations bearing the ultimate responsibility for financial performance, property compliance and maintaining the assets. 

Christine has over 15 years of experience in the affordable housing industry. Most recently before joining PMI, Christine was the Vice President of Asset Management for The Wishcamper Companies, Inc. Christine handled all asset management functions for properties in the multifamily portfolio including strategically optimizing the return on investments and managing repositioning situations including refinancing and dispositions. She also acted as the key owner contact for management agents.

Before relocating to Portland in 2006, Christine was an Assistant Vice President at Boston Capital Corporation in Boston, MA where she was responsible for the on-going portfolio management and investor reporting for $1 billion in gross equity across multi-investor, corporate and direct investment tax credit funds. Other experience includes Asset Management at Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage, one of the largest underwriters of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and mezzanine multi-family loans in the U.S. She managed over $680 million in multi-family loans, including the company's entire mezzanine portfolio.  Christine also worked as an Acquisitions Analyst in the Housing and Community Investing department for Boston Financial Investment Management where she analyzed potential multi-family tax credit acquisitions by reviewing project feasibility, strength of general partners, and financial return opportunities.

Christine earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. She is a member of the Real Estate Finance Association and the Urban Land Institute. She is a volunteer mentor for The Center for Women’s Leadership at Babson College.

Sheila S. Malynowski, Vice President of Quality Assurance  Sheila Malynowski, CQAO, Preservation Management

Sheila S. Malynowski, Chief Quality Assurance Officer of Preservation Management, Inc. began her career in property management as a Multifamily Housing Representative for the Department of Housing and Urban Development where she was responsible for the development of multifamily housing communities using available HUD programs.

Most recently before joining PMI, Sheila was the Director of Housing Management for the New Hampshire Housing Finance Agency, where she administered all multifamily housing programs and was responsible for program compliance for 18 years. Sheila has over 45 years experience in the affordable housing industry.

Sheila is a graduate of Becker College, Franklin Pierce College and received her MSA from Springfield College. She is active with the National Leased Housing Association as a member of their board and is also active in other national and regional housing organizations. 

 Gail D. Berlinger, Vice President of Supportive ServicesGail Berlinger

Gail D. Berlinger, Vice President of Supportive Services, brings 15 years of community development to Preservation Management, Inc. 

Most recently before joining PMI, Gail served as the Director of Strategic Impact Initiatives at Boston Community Capital (BCC) in Boston, Massachusetts. In that role her dual focus was on financial sustainability and quality of life for low income families.

Prior to her role as the Director of Strategic Impact Initiatives, Gail served as Portfolio Manager and Investment Analyst at Boston Capital in Boston, Massachusetts, where she was responsible for ongoing portfolio management, asset management and investor reporting for multi-investor corporate and direct placement Low Income Housing Tax Credit funds. Before joining Boston Capital, Gail worked in property management for Federal Management Company and Boston Union Realty.

Gail earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and French from Rutgers in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She also earned a Master of Urban Affairs from Boston University.       

Geoffrey W. Green, Vice President, Employee and Resident ServicesGeoff Green, EDRSP, Preservation Management

Geoffrey W. Green, Vice President of Employee and Resident Services at Preservation Management, Inc. has over 25 years of executive administration experience in human services organizations.

Most recently before joining PMI, Geoffrey served as a Deputy Commissioner for Operations and Benefits Administration for the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, providing executive leadership for an integrated health and human services organization that was created by the merger of the former Department of Human Services and the former Department of Behavioral and Development Services.  He worked to oversee financial assistance and health care programs such as Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance and MaineCare.

Prior to joining state government, Geoffrey worked for the Central Maine Power Company as Manager of Consumer, Regulatory and Competitive Market Services. Other positions at Central Maine Power included Manager of Revenue Operations and Director of Consumer Affairs. Geoff has also served as Executive Director of York County Community Action Corporation.

Geoffrey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Leadership and Development from Springfield College and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Nasson College.

Kris A. Landry, Regional Vice President   Kris Landry

Kris A. Landry, Regional Vice President, joined PMI in 2009 as a Property Manager and was quickly promoted through the ranks due to her exceptional knowledge of the affordable housing industry. She currently oversees the properties located in New England and the West.

Kris brings 12 years of affordable housing experience to PMI. Most recently, before joining PMI, Kris worked for Portland Housing Authority in the public housing arm of that organization. Prior to working for the local area housing authority, Kris started her career in affordable housing at Tri-County Mental Health services managing their HUD portfolio throughout the State of Maine. 

Kris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Southern Maine. She lives in Gorham, Maine with her husband and two small boys. She is active in her community with fundraising for various organizations.

Michele F. Folino, Regional Vice President  Michele Folino

Michele F. Folino, Regional Vice President, joined PMI in 2011 as a Regional Director overseeing the Mid-Atlantic and South portfolio.

Michele brings over 20 years of property management experience to PMI. Most recently before joining PMI, Michele was a Regional Manager for Lane Company, who has a nationwide presence with affordable and conventional communities.

Prior to her role at Lane Company, Michele served as a Regional Manager at Shelter Properties, overseeing a large portfolio consisting of Project Based Section 8, Tax Credit, and Section 236 and BMIR communities. Before joining Shelter Properties, Michele worked for Morgan Properties where she was responsible for overseeing a diverse conventional portfolio.

Michele began working in the property management industry in 1983 while attending college. Within a year she realized that the industry was one that created great opportunities for women and at the same time provided Michele with the creative outlet she seemed to thrive on.

Bethany Record, Director of Finance & Accounting  Bethany Record

Bethany Record, Director of Finance & Accounting brings ten years of experience to PMI.

Previous to joining PMI, Bethany worked in various roles for a Boston and New York-based real estate investment trust & property management company with a portfolio of more than 12,000 apartment units and 13 million square feet of commercial space across the US.  Following her relocation to Maine, Bethany was a Controller for a locally-based property management and real estate development company focused on affordable housing and multi-family tax credit development.

Bethany earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Colby College in Waterville, Maine and her Masters of Science in Taxation from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts.
